Infrared Imaging
INFRARED IMAGING CAN ASSIST IN
DETECTING UNSEEN MOISTURE
Thermography is a heat diagram or a visible
picture using Infrared Wavelengths. This imaging technique is a powerful
and non-destructive means of monitoring and diagnosing the conditions of
the building envelope.
Infrared is efficient, non-destructive method of locating moisture in
both interior and exterior of building structures, this includes
Balconies, Insulation, Plumbing, Roofing, Stucco and Windows. |
| We are equipped with the latest
Infrared
Cameras and moisture detection instruments to determine the presence of
moisture. We have the experience and ability to determine the extent of
the problem, which allows you to clearly understand the amount of water
intrusion.
Thermal imaging was discovered in the year 1800 that led to the
discovery of Infrared Radiation. Today Infrared Cameras
detect this
energy. These cameras do not see temperatures or heat, they detect
Thermal Radiation. Thermal imaging is being used in the identification
of construction deficiencies.
